I recently watched a show that deals with solving crimes and the show actually gets six people who are divided into two teams. Both teams are given evidences or case files of an actual crime done and their task is to find out who perpetrated the crime. I usually get bored with these types of shows because in this day of television, you have a hard time of identifying the real deal from the scripted ones but the thing that kept me watching the show was actually the case presented. It was a case wherein a 14 year old girl was killed in her own home and while this was happening to her, all her family members were actually in their rooms, sleeping. The only time that they were able to find out that their daughter was dead was when they all woke up in the morning and saw her body in the floor of her room. It might sound gruesome, but the perpetrator in this case, was actually a homeless man who decided to enter their house during the night and maybe he was mentally ill, but he decided to kill the girl just like that.
A lot of homes today are not well equipped with Alarm Sirens that could actually warn everybody in the house if in case an intruder tried to trespass. People tend to put down their guards when it comes to their homes because they might be living in a “safe” neighborhood but in reality, the case about the girl being killed by a stranger for no reason at all, could happen to any one of us. I wondered if only they have installed alarm systems, then maybe, the girl would still be alive. Aside from the alarm sirens, having an Alarm System Battery is also very important because it is a rule that one should always have a backup battery in order to make sure that the alarm is on every second that it needs to be on.
